What's in the bag!
When HY came to fetch me from work after her little
shopping trip to Orchard Ion on her day off, there was
a little white bag that read Bread Society. Another new bake shop?
It's the new chi chi patisserie by Bread Talk inside the Ion Orchard.
Bread Talk brought Pastry Chef Takaaki Nishikawa from Japan
to helm their latest bread venture, Bread Society, which adds
one more Japanese bread and pastry expertise into Singapore.
The Chocolate Danish
It definitely looked more "menacing" than the lemon cream
croissant on the outside with the chocolate bits and icing.

Sandwiched under the nicely made pastry, more chocolate. Yummy!
Inside the Lemon Cream Croissant
A bite revealed the fluffy pastry and the well balanced
lemon cream. The lemon cream was smooth, sweet
and slightly soured. The sweetness of the cream and
lemon was mixed so right such that the cream was not
too sweet neither was it too sour. Just nice for me.
